Bonhams has announced a truely amazing bugatti for its sale at Retromobile, held in Paris 23 January 2010. check this 1925 Bugatti Type 22 Brescia Roadster that has recently surfaced after 70 years in Lake Maggiore. I guess it will make more than it's €70,000 - 90,000 Estimate... and I really hope the new owner sees it at a sculpture rather than a car, and leaves it in this as found condition, restauring it would be wrong. update: This sculpture was sold for 230.000 euro to Jaap Braam Ruben, a well know dutch car collector/trader and Bugatti specialist, who previously acquired the malmerspach Collection with Bruno Vendiesse. Rumours go that part of the malmerspach collection and the lago Maggiore Brescia roadster will be shown in the museum Peter Mullin is setting up in Oxnard in California.
